FUNCTION

Indfos Car Radiator Thermostat type CRT is a temperature operated flow control valve, which is used to control the engine temperature.

It is equipped with a seamless bellows acting as the sensing element. The pressure of partial vapour charge filled in the bellows increases with the increase in temperature of the water/ coolant causing the bellows to expand and hence opening the valve, allowing the water/ coolant to pass through the radiator.
