Indfos liquid line driers are used for the dehydration of refrigerants circulating in refrigerating plants. Type DS is charged with silica gel whereas Type DM is charged with molecular sieves.

The drier is fitted in liquid lines of refrigeration plants between the receiver and expansion valve, with the flow in the direction of arrows. All driers can be fitted in any position.

Type DS driers can be regenerated by heating in dry air for 3 to 4 hours to a temperature of 140-160°C. The regeneration is more effective if dry air is blown through the drier.
