OVERLOAD PROTECTOR TYPE OLP

FUNCTIONS

Indfos Overload Protector type OLP is a bimetallic switch, which is used to protect the refrigeration compressors against excessive overload/ short circuit/ under voltage.

It is equipped with a bimetal snap acting disc and heating element through which the current flows.

The heating (I2R) of the disc depending on the current flowing through it and the influence of the motor heat causing the disc to snap at pre-determined operating temperature corresponding to maximum allowable winding temperature.

Type OLP find application in :

>>    For protection of single phase motor
