Type 2KS / 2KD thermostats are temperature
control devices for controlling the
temperature of refrigerated or air
conditioned spaces. These devices
cut off the compressor motor when
the temperature falls to a preset
value and restart the compressor when
the temperature rises by a fixed value.
The cut off temperature can be adjusted
by turning the knob within specified
limits. 2KS / 2KD thermostats are
very compact in size. All metallic
patrs are either non corrosive in
nature Stainless steel) or Zinc plated.
2KS
/ 2KD utilize a seamless bellows and
capillary as the sensing element.
This sensing element is filled with
suitable charge. The pressure of the
charge in this sensing element changes
with the changes in temperature and
is utilized to operate an electrical
contact system. The electric contact
system is snap acting type which reduces
wear and enhances life of the thermostat.

THERMOSTATS FOR ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR - TYPE ETR
Model ETR thermostats are manufactured to perform in high
temperature ambient and prevailing in the industrial units.
The power element assembly that actuates the switching
mechanism is a sealed thermal system comprised of a
bellows and a temperature sensing bulb and capillary tube.
The power element system is filled with a liquid / vapour
charge selected for the specific application.
Variations in temperature at the bulb (sensing element),
cause changes in the pressure within the power element,
which in turn actuate the switching mechanism to open or
close the desired electrical circuit.
Potential free changeover contacts rated for 16 Amp, 250 V
AC are provided for switching and control purpose.
A graduated scale allows the user to set the actuating
temperature accurately. The on-off differential (Dead band)
is a fixed minimum value and is essentially constant so that
the cut-in value follows the cut-out value within the dead
band.

Type U50 are temperature control devices

THERMOSTAT
- TYPE CRT
Indfos type CRT Thermostat is a bellows
operated device designed for use with
Automotive Radiator. This can be used
in internal combustion engines having
circulating water / coolant system
with radiator..
Internal
combustion engines perform with maximum
efficiency at an optimum temperature.
This is achieved by closely regulating
the flow of coolant / water through
the engine.
Type
CRT thermostat has a built-in valve
which regulates the flow of coolant
/ water through the radiator depending
upon the engine temperature. The valve
starts operating at around 80°C
and attains full open position around
93°C.
The major
advantage of type CRT bellows operated
thermostat is that in the unlikely
event of bellows failure, the thermostat
remains wide open, allowing full flow
of coolant/water. This is as against
other types of thermostats, which
may upon failure block the water flow,
resulting in engine seizure.
The CRT
thermostat is supplied without housing
so as to be mounted directly on the
engine manifold or with housing suitable
for connection to flexible hose pipes
of the engine. Other configurations
can be made suit customers design
upon request.
